As you may know, Playboy will no longer publish images of fully nude women in its magazine beginning this spring. The move comes as part of a redesign that will be unveiled next March, Playboy Enterprises, Inc., announced Tuesday. The magazine will still feature women in provocative poses, but they will no longer bare all when the March issue is released in February, according to a statement from Playboy.
In the early 90s, Playgirl magazine stopped showing fully nude men. Sales dropped dramatically and the magazine went back to ‘showing it all’ a few months later. But this was before the world wide web. With the onslaught of Internet, many feel nude images have lost their appeal which is what has led Playboy to their decision.
