MiXE1 Releases High-Energy Album 'Starlit Skin'

Picture if you will, a mash-up between Korn and Linkin Park and fast-forward several decades into a futuristic realm where a hybrid of sounds emerge in the form of a London band that goes by the name of MiXE1. Trailblazers of a new generation in music, MiXE1’s latest album release Starlit Skin is a gargantuan voyage through waves of electrifying guitar riffs, intense vocals, and futuristic electronic elements. Described as an Electronic Rock band, MiXE1 is poised to dominate the global music sphere with rare distinction not seen since punk went mainstream on MTV.

The band delivers a solid performance throughout the entire album but, there are a few tracks that really explode like Pop Rocks in your ear. The debut single Talking in Our Sleep conveys a strong intro with an in-your-face disposition. Reminiscent of a Linkin Park track, the song opens with a media-style clip and intensifies to a high-octane jam with driving drum beats, dense metal guitars, heavy synths, and dynamic vocals that range from smooth and entrancing to ferocious and stormy.

Another high-energy track is Break You Down which kicks out quick rolling guitar chords and thick electronic synths. The song is indicative of a profound emotional journey between two forces. The title track Starlit Skin is another remarkable song that not only renders a psychological adventure but, has the allure of a mainstream hit engulfed in a classic love story.

MiXE1 is a diverse band that has drawn influence from pop and metal genres. The magnitude of their diversity is evident in tracks such as Plug Me in Tonite and All 4 U which demonstrate a more surreal, futuristic sound. These two tracks come to life with a grungy sound expressing static electronics and ambient backdrops that will mystify listeners.

Leaving no sounds unexplored, the band throws in a couple of EDM elements as heard in the track Here. The song fuses retro vocals, quick guitar chords, and pop vocals that could be compared to 90s rockers Simple Plan. The song is a sweet listen and much like Starlit Skin will have fans rushing to download the entire album without hesitation.

Hailing from the UK, MiXE1 is bringing back the unsaturated sounds of metal bands with a modern spin. Their latest album delivers a phenomenal mixture of dark and mysterious to bright and vigorous ambiance. Their blending of sounds encompasses elements of metal, pop, and electronic music; making it an easy to digest musical dessert for the soul. With emotional lyrics, and expressive vocal performances, the album is certain to evoke an impassioned connection with fans around the world.
