A&L is Onto the Next Heart

We first heard from A&L last October with their fun, quirky song Get Me A Drink. It’s high energy retro vibe became a favorite on my iPhone for a few months. Now they’re back with a new track, Onto the Next Heart.  This  tune should be in tight rotation on your spring break soundtrack right fucking now! It’s made for cool days and hot nights because of it’s an upbeat tempo, guitar shredding and a real catchy hook.  Singer Lana Marie takes an aggressive vocal style that’s being compared to The Pretty Reckless and P!nk. Powering the rhythm section on this song is Legendary bass player Jerry Livingston!

“When I was composing this next song, I wanted to write from a woman’s perspective to represent Lana’s vocal personality. Onto the Next Heart tells the story of an independent woman that does not want to be tied down with life, love and sex.” says producer Anthony Casuccio. Lana sells the story and makes it her own adventure through her raw vocal performance. “We are truly honored and bless with the strong fan reaction to our new song”, say Lana. We are excited to start playing live shows in the near future.”

I’ve had the pleasure of hearing several other songs by A&L and, as good as the first two singles have been, others are also quality!

A&L is Anthony Casuccio and Lana Marie, two music veterans who has garnered nominations for three Grammy Awards for his work. Lana Marie, whose vocal style has been compared to artists such as Gretchen Wilson and P!nk, is an award-winning vocalist who has been a strong influence along the East Coast music scene, appearing on radio and television productions.
